Sarah Roberts is a graduate from Sullivan College of Technology & Design with a Graphic Arts degree. She has always loved drawing and sculpting since she could hold a pencil. Sarah began her career in 2009 working out of a restaurant in Hodgenville and went on to open a storefront in 2010 in Elizabethtown, KY. Sarah moved to Louisville in 2017 to start a different career as a pastry chef. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic she lost her job as pastry chef and decided to rebrand the business in Louisville. Sarah's home kitchen is licensed, insured and health department approved in Louisville, KY. Since starting Sugar Fashion Cakes, she has won best local bakery 4 years in a row and has taken 2nd place twice at the Kentucky Cake Show. She has been featured on the PBS television show Kentucky Life and news station WHAS 11 Great Day Live! morning show. Sarah also participated in Food Network's Cake Wars Season 2 competition. Her love for the art and people go hand in hand, and she loves seeing the smiles on her customers’ faces when they pick up their cakes.
